Hi Milania! We say "te gusta" when we refer to one thing (singular) or activity you like. Example: ¿Te gusta el chocolate? / ¿Te gusta viajar? / Te gusta el cine. / Te gusta leer. On the other hand, we say "te gustan" when we refer to things in plural. Example: ¿Te gustan los coches? / Te gustan las películas de acción. Hope my explanation was helpful! Fernando

  • What is the meaning of "chachi" in Spanish?

Could you help me understand the meaning of the word "chachi" addressed to me? How to react or answer?

    Best answer

¡Hola! La traducción que considero más parecía sería "cool!" Decimos "chachi" ante una propuesta que nos parece una buenísima idea para confirmar nuestra aprobación. Se utiliza en un registro de lenguaje bastante bajo o también familiar. Espero haberte ayudado ;)

  • Hello! Could you explain me please what is flakita bonita?

Is "flakita bonita" some kind of slang?

    Best answer

As before said " little skinny girl". Usually it's used as a "cute" way to call your girlfriend (but she actually should be at least thin. Otherwise it doesn't make sense or it could even be ofensive if she's thick because it could be taken as sarcasm/irony)

  • I want to say "I'm sleepy" in Spanish. How to say it?
    Best answer

“Yo tengo sueño” is what I say when I am sleepy. It would directly translate to “I am sleepy”. Another way to say you are sleepy is “Yo estoy cansado” which would more directly translate to “I am exhausted”
