- Why do Germans not like it when you speak English to them?
I have been in Germany for some time. I noticed an interesting thing that Germans don't like when you speak English to them. I don't think they don't know the language. Someone told me that it is common for them to react like that. "If you're in Germany (not just traveling), speak German. Can't? That's your problem." Maybe that happened only to me.

I met different German people and didn't have such a problem. everybody was so kind and polite. They easily spoke English & German to foreigners

When you are absolutely sure that something is going to happen as planned. For example you know that you'll finish school the next year, so you say: Ich werde nächstes Jahr die Schule abgeschlossen haben. it is exactly as translated in english: I will have finished the school next year.
- So for most verbs: "Präteritum Indikativ" = "Präteritum Konjuktiv II".
If someone says: "Ich antwortete dich", it can mean "I asked you" or "I would ask you". So because of this I can say: "Ich würde dich antworten", to meke sur of it.

No, that would be grammatically incorrect. It would mean "he said that you would helped me have". Instead say: Er sagt, dass du mir helfen wirst (he said that you would help me).
