  • If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

    Extremely sorry to say but it's next to impossible. No one can become an expert instantly. It takes time & lots of patience to gain expertise in anything. For instance, here we are on the platform for language learning & if one says; I could become language expert instantly then s/he is just deceiving herself/himself & nothing else.

  • How many months\years did it take for you to learn English for reaching the level you have now?

    Learning language is a very rough (especially at the very beginning) but useful for brain period and is never be gonna totally finished cause the language is a dynamic thing so how much time have you spend on working on your English skills so far?

    According to me, the best lesson activities are based on the preference of the student. For instance, I remember a lesson where the students were given spoons and a plastic bottle and they were asked to create a product out of it and to introduce it to their peers. Which I think was a perfect class.

  • What do you think is the most difficult part of learning a different language?

    I am currently learning Korean, learning the vowels and consonants was very easy but I found reading harder than pronunciation.

    As I see it, every skill of the target language can be learned by students who stick to practising. But the only obstacle is your self judgement whenever you make a mistake. The only advice I can give a student is embrace your mistakes. Making mistakes is a proof that you're trying. And one of the best ways to learn is putting yourself in challenging situations using the target language.

  • If you could live your life again, what career would you choose?

    If I could live my life again, I would choose to work in the medical field as a triple board cardiothoracic, general and trauma surgeon. I believe that having the ability to help persons to get a chance at life by being able to surgically repair what could possibly end their earthly existence would have helped me to live a more meaningful life.

    I would do volunteer community service in other countries teaching people about the Bible and how they can draw close to God.

    I wouldn't say is the biggest but I have a fear of networking. I know this is very important for my career growth but I always feel like people will reject me and be embarrassed.
