  • What are the most challenging problems that society faces? Why "faces" instead of "does face"?
    Best answer

The sentence uses “faces” because it is in the present tense and refers to ongoing , persistent challenges in society. “Does face” is also grammatically correct but adds emphasis to the fact that society is actively dealing with these challenges. The choice depends on the desire nuance. ☺️

  • What are the most challenging problems that society faces? Почему "faces" а не "does face"?
    Best answer

What ARE the problems - уже содержит в себе вопросительную модель, остальное выступает в качестве определений.

Conversely, climate change affects economic stability, particularly in venerable regions, which can exacerbate poverty. Sustainable development is the key, as it integrates economic growth with environmental protection and poverty alleviation, fostering a more equitable and resilient global society. ☺️
