A good song should first and foremost be good because it's a good piece of music. I will assume we ARE talking about music here. Or else we'd be talking about poetry. So if we are talking about music, it's irrelevant which language its lyrics are in. Or does it mean that we "don't like" the song merely because we don't understand the lyrics? If so, then this question is pointless. If you sing your part well, or play your piano fabulously, or carry the irresistible beat on your bass or drums, who cares which language the song is in? It's simply good.
