Once a lesson is over, the student and the tutor will see a modal window to confirm the lesson took place and, if necessary, report any issues.

What are the fees for using your services?
For tutors, LiveXP is free to join and use. For students, LiveXP offers 1 free 10-minute trial lesson, after which they should subscribe if they want to continue learning.

There are the LiveXP website and the LiveXP app. Is it a must for tutors to use both?
For you as a tutor, having the LiveXP app is essential for completing your tutor profile. Without the app, your tutor card will not be visible to students.
Do I receive payment in US dollars?
You can set up prices in euros or US dollars, but all payments sent to Wallet are only in dollars.
Why is the "Book a lesson" button inactive in my profile?
Tutors cannot see the "Book lesson" button in their own profiles if they are signed in. To see the button, you should look at your tutor profile signed out.
I’ve got a lesson booked. What should I do?
If you have the first booked lesson, follow this instruction.
Do you provide any materials for teaching?
No. It's up to every tutor what they want their lessons to be.
Will I get paid if a student doesn't show up for the lesson?
Yes. But you have to be in the lesson for its whole duration in case the student makes it after all.
How do I submit verification documents?
Here is the instruction to resubmit verification documents.
I wasn't paid for the lesson. What should I do?
Normally, you receive money after the lesson is over and the student gives it a good rating. Delays may occur in 4 cases.
How to withdraw the funds?

The schedule students see doesn't match the schedule I set up. Why?
To change your schedule or your time zone follow the instructions.
Who are the students on LiveXP?
They are people from all around the world and of different ages who enjoy learning languages.
What if I receive a bad rating? Can I change it?
If you get a bad rating, we'll get in touch with both you and the student to find out what happened.
I missed my lesson. What should I do?
If you missed a lesson for whatever reason without letting the student know in advance, get in touch with them as soon as you can and explain the situation.
Can I reschedule a booked lesson?
Yes, if you agree on it with the student.
How do I join my active lesson?

We encourage our tutors to install our mobile app — LiveXP App.
I have an issue with screen sharing. What do I do?
You may have issues if you're using the Safari browser. Try another browser.
Do I need any specific equipment or software to conduct lessons?
As long as you have a laptop/PC, a camera, and a microphone, you're good.
What is a Tutor Studio?
Tutor studio is the one place that has all the tools you need as a tutor.
Where do lessons take place?
On LiveXP. When the lesson starts, go to “My lessons” and click “Join lesson”, or click on the calendar icon and find the active lesson to join. You can join the active lesson either from your LiveXP app (iOS) or right from the website.
Why is my tutor card not available among other tutors?
Students see only those tutors who have LiveXP App, set up their schedule, and respond to all new messages within 24 hours.
I have issues uploading my profile photo. What do I do?

Can I choose several languages for teaching?
Yes. Right now, tutors can choose up to 2 languages for teaching during the profile setup and up to 5 languages in which they can teach.
How do I get paid?
You get paid:
1) if the lesson is scheduled on the LiveXP Calendar
2) after a lesson has ended and the student has rated it positively
3) after 48 hours if the lesson remains unrated
Do I need to provide any certificates to prove my proficiency?
It is not obligatory. Anyone can register on LiveXP. We provide opportunities for everyone.
Where do I start?
The instruction for tutors who have just started their career on LiveXP. These recommendations will help you to kick things off.
I can't find a language I want to teach. Can you add it?
If there are specific languages you want to be available on LiveXP, tell our Support about it.
Why does my account keep getting deactivated? Have I done anything wrong?
It's not the same as account blocking. No need to worry. As soon as you log in to your account, or read and reply to all the messages, your account becomes visible on the platform again.
How can I reschedule a lesson?
If you want to reschedule a lesson, please follow this instruction, or reach out to us at [email protected] if any assistance is needed.
How do I change my time zone in the profile?
Open account settings > find Your time zone > choose the relevant time zone from the drop-down list.
The flag displayed next to my username is not the flag of my country. How do I change it?
To do this, go to Account settings > Profile details. In the “Where are you from?” field, choose the country you need.
Can I change my email and nickname?
The username cannot be changed.
To change your email, send us a request to [email protected] from the email you initially registered.
