Every lesson is a chance to impress!💫

After each confirmed lesson, students are encouraged to leave a rating, letting you know how they felt about their learning experience. These ratings, displayed as an average score on your profile, are valuable to both you and other potential students.

Here's how student ratings work:

  1. To showcase your expertise, you need a minimum of three lessons rated.
  2. Ratings range from 1 to 5 stars.
  • 4-5 stars: These reflect a positive learning experience.
  • 1-3 stars: These indicate areas for improvement.

3.   Your average rating is calculated by adding all your ratings and dividing by the total number of ratings.

🔸
Every rating counts! Encourage students to leave ratings after each lesson. This is one of the ways for you to get feedback and attract new students. High ratings make your profile more attractive and trustworthy.

To avoid low ratings as a tutor, make sure you☝️:

  1. Come prepared for lessons.
  • Get to know your students' individual needs and goals before each lesson. Adjust your lesson plans according to their specific learning styles and challenges.
  • Try to eliminate the possibility of technical hiccups by testing your device, audio & video settings, and Internet connection before the lesson starts. Make the most use out of the 15-minute pre-lesson window to ensure everything is functioning smoothly. Refer to our Troubleshooting guidelines if necessary.

2.  Come on time and warn your students if you’re running late.
3.  Don't reschedule lessons too often. Frequent reschedulings can negatively impact your reputation as a tutor – not only do they affect the individual lesson rating, but they might also influence overall review.
4.  Know what every student wants and needs.

  • Proactively seek feedback and encourage your students to share their thoughts on how the lesson went and any areas they'd like to improve. Show your students you are open to constructive criticism and committed to their success.🙌
