They are people from all around the world and of different ages who enjoy learning languages.
What if I receive a bad rating? Can I change it?
If you get a bad rating, we'll get in touch with both you and the student to find out what happened.
I missed my lesson. What should I do?
If you missed a lesson for whatever reason without letting the student know in advance, get in touch with them as soon as you can and explain the situation.
Can I reschedule a booked lesson?
Yes, if you agree on it with the student.

We encourage our tutors to install our mobile app — LiveXP App.
I have an issue with screen sharing. What do I do?
You may have issues if you're using the Safari browser. Try another browser.
Do I need any specific equipment or software to conduct lessons?
As long as you have a laptop/PC, a camera, and a microphone, you're good.
What is a Tutor Studio?
Tutor studio is the one place that has all the tools you need as a tutor.
Where do lessons take place?
On LiveXP. When the lesson starts, go to “My lessons” and click “Join lesson”, or click on the calendar icon and find the active lesson to join. You can join the active lesson either from your LiveXP app (iOS) or right from the website.
Why is my tutor card not available among other tutors?
Students see only those tutors who have LiveXP App, set up their schedule, and respond to all new messages within 24 hours.
I have issues uploading my profile photo. What do I do?

Can I choose several languages for teaching?
Yes. Right now, tutors can choose up to 2 languages for teaching during the profile setup and up to 5 languages in which they can teach.
How do I get paid?
You get paid:
1) if the lesson is scheduled on the LiveXP Calendar
2) after a lesson has ended and the student has rated it positively
3) after 48 hours if the lesson remains unrated
Do I need to provide any certificates to prove my proficiency?
It is not obligatory. Anyone can register on LiveXP. We provide opportunities for everyone.

I can't find a language I want to teach. Can you add it?
If there are specific languages you want to be available on LiveXP, tell our Support about it.
Can I pay a tutor outside LiveXP?
No. It is prohibited to pay tutors outside LiveXP. We definitely will not be able to help you with refunds in this case, even if there are grounds for it.
Can I get a refund if I didn't like the lesson?
Follow the instructions to sort things out, or contact the Support Team in the chat.
Can I edit the rating I gave to a lesson?
Follow this instruction in case you changed your mind and want to edit the rating.
Who are the tutors on LiveXP?
They are people from all around the world who love teaching. Anyone can be a tutor on LiveXP because we believe in openness and giving opportunities.
I missed my lesson. What should I do?
If you missed a lesson and hadn't previously agreed to reschedule it, then this lesson will not be compensated.
I didn't like the lesson. What do I do?
If you didn't like how the actual lesson went, rate the lesson once it's over.
My tutor didn’t show up for the lesson. What should I do?
If the tutor is still not there after 15 minutes, rate the lesson with the comment "Tutor didn't show up" and email us at [email protected], or in the chat.
Why does my account keep getting deactivated? Have I done anything wrong?
It's not the same as account blocking. No need to worry. As soon as you log in to your account, or read and reply to all the messages, your account becomes visible on the platform again.
How do I join an active lesson?
When the lesson has started, you'll see a toast notification in the bottom left corner of the screen. It'll have the "Join lesson" button on it.

How do I find my personal teacher on LiveXP?
There are several ways to find a tutor.
How do I change my time zone in the profile?
Open account settings > find Your time zone > choose the relevant time zone from the drop-down list.

The flag displayed next to my username is not the flag of my country. How do I change it?
To do this, go to Account settings > Profile details. In the “Where are you from?” field, choose the country you need.
Can I change my email and nickname?
The username cannot be changed.
To change your email, send us a request to [email protected] from the email you initially registered.
Why is my profile blocked?

Why is my student account blocked?

How can I edit my Credit Card details?
If you want to change the card you have, delete it and save another instead.
What payment system is used on LiveXP?
It all depends on your country and device. Students can pay for lessons and courses with a credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and some local payments systems.
