The most significant differences between British and American English are in their pronunciations, their vocabularies, and their spelling. There are grammatical differences, too, but these are less important and harder to describe, so we will pass over them for today.
They are differ in pronunciation. Some like to use British English and others prefer American. No matter which you would prefer but only knowing the meaning that counts.
Winston Churchill once said this about the USA and the UK . "They are two nations divided by a common language". The difference between US English and UK English is not just about spelling and accents. The way the US and the UK use tenses, prepositions, participles are different. UK vocabulary is far wider and deeper than US vocabulary, and as such, you will find that the British are more adept at humour, satire and sarcasm than their "cousins across the pond". One big difference one can notice is treatment of 'r' letter after vowels in the end positions of English words. While the British usually do not pronounce 'r', Americans pronounce it almost at all times. Compare 'over', 'wear', 'occur', 'air' in Am and Br accents.

Actually, when we say walk in the street, we don't know which street exactly, but when we say walk on the street, we exactly know which street they are walking on. For example: she was walking on st.jose street. Plus we can use along the streer instead

Another way could be using tongue twisters, which can be a fun and helpful way for practicing pronunciation , especially for sounds that are difficult to pronounce. The last way could be recordings, where students could listen to native speakers and imitate how they pronounce words.
