To focus on getting a great methology for teaching
First of all, always be punctual and make sure all is set for an upcoming lesson beforehand. Remember that you are just two individuals trying to make it in life, so ask questions and try to get to know each other — this way will help set friendly atmosphere and improve learning process, as a result.
Remember you still a student also. Practise practise and practise. Get teaching videos learn from them. Last but not least we all make mistakes and learn from them.
Make a good profile with a catchy description and answer questions in the community for more visibility.
For your own sanity, prepare, prepare, prepare lol. Most of the preparation wont be used, but it will give you the confidence that you have material. My experience is that most students have a good idea of what they want, and are motivated - they're spending money.
Speak English with lot of vocabulary with students as a friend
Don't consider them as students consider them as friends .. and always have fun with them.
