What are your tips for a speaker doing sight translation to an interpreter? 

Alot of practice makes perfect, start to listen to some small texts and interpret it and observe your time, then record your voice and listen to it and try to correct your mistakes 

1st of all speak clearly and slowly because your words and pause frequently to allow the interpreter to keep up, and 2nd point is provide context like briefly explain the background of the material to aid in accurate translation.
