Hi deniserxsseline, I am a Chinese native speaker. The first tone in Mandarin is a flat tone, which sounds like ''a'' when you go to see the dentist and they let you open your mouth. The second tone is a rising tone, the intonation is similar to that of the English word ''what'' when you've got surprised. Hope you can feel that. Anything else you would like to know, please feel free to ask me. Cheers.
the first tone is flat in English such as ūm the second tone is like Whát? the third tone is like nǒ the last tone is like stòp the sounds of the four tones are similar to those of the four words in English, you can refer to them to pronounce
For example, let's explain it with the word "I". Normally, we always say "I" with a flat tone and that's the first tone. Now try to say "I?" and that's exactly the second tone. Can you tell the difference between second tone and first tone now?
The first tone is flat and long, as if you had no emotion, the English word long in fact sounds like first tone. "Looong". The second tone is like the asking tone in English. A: "Really?" B: "Really." All the second tones are kind of like asking in English. It starts from low and ends up in high as a tone.
ā First tone is like when you shout in the valley, it is flat. á The second tone is like when you dont understand a question, like huh?
First one:When I think you maybe know something , you answer yes “maybe”.”maybe ” in this situation ,”mei “is quite flat . Like first tone “flat tone” Second Tone : when you surprise something happend ? You would say “what”? . It is like second tone rising tone “goes up “
The first tone is flat and the second tone is rising
他们听起来是两个不同的音节。 想象你现在正在说话,这些不同的音节就像飞机: 第一声像飞机落在平地,第二声像飞机刚刚起飞,第三声像飞机在高空中先下降再上升,第四声像飞机直线下降。
他们的音高 音强 音长都不一样。具体的可以看我的视频资料。
The first and second tone ending syllables are similar in high pitch, but the first tone beginning and ending syllables are the same, and the second tone is rising from the middle to high pitch.
