This has been one of the challenges I personally struggled with when I first started teaching online. First of all, its vital to know your students, mostly kids. Know what they like and try by all means to direct lessons towards the topics that they enjoy the most. But its still possible that a child might be bored even though you have selected a topic they like. So in this case I use visuals a lot. I mean children learn most with their eyes. I normally start off by lessons with song videos to awaken their interest and excitement for learning
I think ıf students come to lessen , they could be punctual . Öğrenciler derse geliyorsa dakik olmalıdır .
Learning often times has a lot to do with the state of mind. I usually start my lessons with a mini build up session to understand the students mood. Tackling engaging topics like reading and comprehension energies students. On the other hand,a monologue type of teaching plan bores students . 1. Make classes interactive 2. Focus on discussions and or dialogue 3. Students have interests and things that command their attention. Every teacher should focus on that. 4.Last but not the least, don't be too serious! It's just a language. Have fun and enjoy as you teach.

Start testget them to chose a tik tok dance and learn and perform it, hands to the left, hands to the right, step to the left, step to the right - and then link to your lesson... basically, anything that gets them moving and talking that doesn't 'feel' like a lesson
Usually find out about their sleeping habits, and talk to the parents about it. Then interesting topics, songs and some interactive activities will help
I will stop teaching and start talking with them, I will have interesting conversations and activities like games and puzzle
I usually use interactive activities such as matching games, singing and puzzles to engage the learner.
I would use games, competitions anything that gives them scores. They would be excited to achieve and brag about their scores or try harder next time.
Sometimes giving the little ones a short and frequent breaks can help them recharge and refocuse
Engagement is key! Engaging the student in the conversation/ lesson will minimise the boredom. Allowing the student to speak helps , especially letting them speak about what interests them.
Luciana has a very good point. If they're doing the talking, they're less likely to be bored or drift off. The more interesting the topic you bring, the more engaged they're going to be in the discussion. Video exercises help too!
