  • When I worked with young people, I would disguise language learning in another activity. I taught one lad weight training. This enabled us to naturally talk about schedules, routines, kilos/pounds, and it opened up a long conversation psychology, biology, ambitions and goals. Another trick was to create a newsletter that people had a role in. Some would write, others edit, and others design. The conversations that link all those skill are as important as that of the writers writing.

  • Project based learning activities gives the learner and the teacher an interactive touch. For example, I teach students how to construct and write more effective emails and business letter. I use examples and templates to help them write on their own from scratch and thereafter I help and develop their work. In this way I have included project-based activities to help while including business concepts.
