What is the best way to practice listening skills with a beginner?
The best experience to me will always be meeting new people and making friends while being an online teacher. I find it very fulfilling.
During a free class, a student requested paid classes.
Itās always been an exciting experience tutoring online, but one that has been my best was when my student told me she felt very comfortable, relaxed during my class because she stammers and found it difficult to speak sometimes. I assured her to feel okay and not to worry about her fluency. I felt very good after her feedback.
I had a relationship with most of my Korean students, since am a higher beginner in Korean language it was fun and engaging because I also learnt new and unfamiliar phrases.
I have had many great experiences, but one that truly stands out is when a student returned from her summer holiday and told me she missed me and our lessons, saying I had become an important part of her life. Thankfully she is still my student, and her weekly lessons continues to be one of the highlights of my week.
Currently, I have an amazing opportunity to teach Ukrainian to spanish-speaking student. I enjoy doing it! I can even find it fascinating how two languages share common ground, revealing similarities at times.

I prepare for all of my lessons in advance, and ensure each class has intriguing topics that would spark fascination and interest with my students. I believe if you put in the work, respect the rules, and listen to instruction; you'll excel as a teacher regardless of whether that's online or offline.
