My lessons have audio paths, so I play the audio they listen I read out the word and they repeat after me.
Generally more listening practice. It's important to parrott new words.

We practice pronunciation and focus on sound and rhythm. We do this repeatedly until the pronunciation is correct. I emphasize on the listening skills and create a positive learning environment.
Hi Nick, I too recently posted a similar question and received really good feedback. I also had to take the time to understand how some of my students understand the English Alphabet, then understand how they pronounce letters in their own language. Then explain why English pronunciation is important when speaking English, and to separate the 2 or 3.
Hi, I am back after a long year-end break. I show them a podcast and make them listen first as to how to pronounce a certain word. I also listen to them reading and correct their pronunciation. We have to correct them at the beginning, otherwise they will repeat the wrong pronunciation.
