The best way to teach pronunciation (most of all, English pronunciaton) is by teaching phonemic transcription. This is because there are only 26 letters in the English alphabet but there are 44 sounds in the English language. Some letter combinations have different sounds in different words. So, the English pronunciation is not very consistent with the grapheme system. For this reason, we need to associate the different sounds with a symbol so that we can can learn to pronounce words more accurately.

Repeat, repeat, repeat! It has been said that it takes at least 7 repetitions for the brain to accept and retain new information. I've tried it with my students, and it does work! Facial exercises are also helpful in training the mouth, jaw, and tongue muscles.

There are a lot of textbooks. Flying colors may be useful. There is a lot of content to read. Reading is essential. No matter if you do not know the meaning of all the words. The more you read , the more you internalize. And of course, the more reading alud the more you listen to yourself. The result is self-confidence.

I don’t fully understand what you mean by “get attached”. However, during school breaks a teacher might share a few learning tips and provide a few extra exercises aimed to boost fluency or any other area that the student needs to work on. I personally make myself available to learners at anytime providing that they’re willing to pull their weight.
