As VERBS, they have similar pronounce but different meanings: - The verb TO LIVE has the idea of existing, being alive or residing in a specific location (Ex.: I live in Brazil - I live with my family) - The verb TO LEAVE means exiting, going away from a place or abandoning, remaining something/one in a location (Ex.: I want to leave Brazil and live in the USA - I always leave my bottle of water inside the car - I like to leave my dog with my parents when I travel) As NOUNS, the pronounce and meanings change even more: - The noun LIVE refers to a transmition (on TV or Online) that's happening in the exact moment that one is watching (Ex.: The reporter is LIVE talking about the accident) - The noun LEAVE refers to a permission or authorization to be absent from a location (Ex.: I need a parental leave because now I have a baby)
