The shadowing technique is the best method to learn/teach English pronunciation. In my opinion, nothing beats it. The pronunciation of newly learned words can be learned/tuned using the shadowing technique which is listening to an authentic source and repeating it word by word without delay. After learning/tuning the pronunciation, it is best to speak in front of a mirror and talk; the learners need to see their lips and facial expressions when doing so.

Listen and repeat. This could be teacher, or it could be high quality English. Often the BBC has great resources. Sometimes native speakers - who aren't teachers - can do damage as they often don't realise they have accents. lol

You can teach one word at a time. Or even better doing one word a day. Divide the word and make the student understand how to combine them by identifying their correct pronunciation For Example: Teach (T-ea-ch)

2 ways I will teach my students pronunciation is by Repetition and Interactive Activities. Repetition: I will make my students practice pronunciation regularly to reinforce correct sounds and patterns, helping them internalize them. Interactive Activities: I will engage my students in interactive exercises and games to make pronunciation practice enjoyable and memorable, enhancing their skills in a dynamic way.
In my opinion,I will spend more time practicing on sounds that are new to my student native language. Also, I will pay more attention to those words that are pronounced different in individual learner native language.Through that I will be well prepared to teach pronunciation. For me it's a long and careful process. First, learning transcription signs, practicing them separately, with the mirror preferably, then in the words. I know it must sound too much, but I do care about pronouncing, and encourage my students to do the same.
