I use many data shows and videos and I send them to the student after the session to revise the lesson after our meeting.

If the student feels psychologically comfortable with his teacher, the matter is almost finished on his part because he will be able to comprehend anything the teacher says. Here comes the second stage, which is the most important role of the teacher in convincing the student of his educational goods, which depends mainly on mutual dialogue through Question and answer, analysis and deduction, exercises, reading articles, novels, and of course each student according to his intellectual level.

Hello, Sylvie! From my experience, students are generally looking for a serious, but at the same time friendly professor. It is important for them that the class is not boring and that they are involved as much as possible in the activities and, above all, in communication. Each student has his own needs and reasons for learning a language, and each student has a different capacity to acquire a language, so the teaching method should be adapted to their abilities and needs. :)
