Itβs all about regular listening practice. They need to listen to correct pronunciation regularly and then they parrot it.
First of all, I believe that proper pronunciation should be taught by a native speaker or non-native speaker who is keen on different accents, knows everything about them, and practices them regularly. There are a lot of native speakers of English around the world but the thing is, students demand a Standard accent either British or American.

I believe teachers should focus on phonemes ,also tryin g tongue twisters and speaking slowly not fast so students can hear and understand the way the words are pronounced .
I like yo use youtube videos of professional linguists my students can watch and then we practice
