Is it necessary to have much homework to learn English?

It is not necessary. Learning English is very interesting especially when you discuss everything in class.But as a teacher I give out homework just to see the progress of my students and weigh on their strengths and weaknesses and it should not be too much.

No, not at all. Rather learning English language should be based on activities. Home Work can be there but as an engagement activity only.
Hello! I think, it is better to do homework(for example learning words), so that your online classes are more useful, and you can learn it faster. But it is not really necessary. It depends on how much time you have and how fast you want to investigate it
