I have tried using AI during and prepping for English lessons and I can quite safely say that it is very overrated. In my opinion the end result is that the student learns a homogenized English, something that will almost certainly evolve into a monstrosity akin to George Orwell's 1984 Newspeak.
AI will stifle teacher creativity, allowing lessons to become bland, extremely tedious and almost soul destroyingly dull for the student to sit through! It will also make the teacher lazy.
Rather be creative with your thinking to tailor make your lessons for each of your students. Rather have highly motivated students who will be able to use the Language of Shakespeare in the same way that the "Great Bard" did, than to have humourless, beige language that has no colour or vibrancy to it.
