I would suggest that you increase the complexity level of class activities by engaging them in tasks that require the use of their critical level skills and utilize the inquire - based approach. I hope these tips help!

You can choose a Topic or let them choose their favorite topic, give them responsibilities to gather information and tell them they should give a presentation to class.

Give the students a topic and have them discuss it among themselves. Have them ask each other questions and analyse each others answers.
Firstly set quize or complicated questions. Consistent individual questioning.
