How do you keep up with developments in the field of English language teaching?

I’m a member of two teacher organisations (English Language Teachers of Berlin and Brandenburg) and (International Association of Teachers of English as a foreign language). They both organise monthly seminars by experts and provide articles and other information. I also find LinkedIn to be a great resource.
A language is dynamic; it keeps evolving with time and technology which not only brings new vocabulary but also new ways of teaching. That is why an English teacher must be abreast with innovations and developments in terms of teaching styles and methods, and be prepared to adjust them according to changes in society.

Start testIt is a never ending learning language, compared to when I was a kid learning English, to when I trained to teach English it is vastly different. Then added to this the language is evolving constantly and the best way is to keep up by attending webinars, read, social media and of course the tried and tested videos that teachers post, or I should rather say educators.
