It varies. If your profile meets their requirements, they will contact you; but having high ratings and positive student testimonials increases your chances of getting booked. As for marketing, I don't expect much from LiveXP, so I prefer to handle it on my own. Word of mouth is also effective - many of my previous students have recommended me to their friends because they were happy with my teaching style and the results they achieved.
Honestly, I'd say no. I've been answering alot of questions here but I've never had a single lesson since I joined
Potentially. You can't direct a question at potential students. Students can ask questions on here. It's good for teachers to answer questions as it makes your profile appear more. You will also get the helpful tutor badge.

I have been teaching here for exactly one year now, and in my honest opinion I can say that by posting here it doesn't really get you noticed much. 90% of the students I teach here is due to word of mouth (recommendations from other students) And the other 10% is due to my own effects of promoting my profile on my social media platforms e.g Instagram and Facebook.

For Livexp it does they mention that the tutors get noticed by students as long as we answer questions
In a way it does, because according to Livexp, whenever a tutor answers any question here, the tutor gets the chance to be noticed, and booked by students.

When I was at school I thought I would never become a teacher. But as you can guess «Never say never»😅 I just like it. When people think that they can’t do and tell your story they think that it is possible. So, I like it when others succeed in doing something. 🤝
