The one you enjoy! I've recently come across a film which is good for low levels - Beginners by Mike Mills. Check it out )
choosing a movie to help you improve your English can depend on your current language proficiency but movies that are usually helpful according to the an individuals proficiency can be seen below. For beginners: "Finding Nemo" or "Toy story" For intermediate learners: "The pursuits of happyness" For advanced learners: "The social network" If you would like to learn British English I would recommend " The parent trap" or "Forrest Gump"
Animated movies and series with subtitles are great! Personally, I always recommend students start with a show that they have watched before because it can be less intimidating and easier to stay engaged. From there, I recommend shows and movies based on the student's goals and interests. If their goal is to learn more colloquial English, I recommend something like Friends. If they love cooking, art, or history, I choose something more specific to their interests.

Not a movie but Big bang Theory 👌for my squad . It's a real attention-grabber and pumps up the enthusiasm for learning and improving English.
I would say "Family Guy" They have a wonderful range of idiomatic expressions. Also, you will learn about American pop culture. Sometimes the running gags and jokes requires further research. Entry level for this show is B1. A bit political and sometimes not suitable for younger audience.
I think Seinfeld and Friends are very recommended for B2 level. I also use them to practice Physical and Personality descriptions for B1 level Then, I choose series according to the topic we are working with: Sherlock or Only Murders in the Building are great series to learn vocabulary related to CRIME and MYSTERY. Monsters Inc. or Disney movies are great for A2 level:)
Surely, everybody should say Friends. and I agree with it (if you have at least B2 this is a cool soap opera). Extra English is the best option for A1-A2 levels. It is pretty funny and extremely EDUCATIONAL! What I can recommend is to watch cartoons you have wotched before (Shrek, Madagaskar etc). The point is that you know the plot and the pronunciation is usually very clear.
Sherlock (with Benedict Cumberbatch) is great for advanced learners.
"Extra English" is a sitcom designed for language learners, which offers an excellent opportunity for English practice and natural language speaking while also being fun. It's about four attractive 19-22-year-olds Bridget, Annie, Hector and Nick. This movie includes exercise books that allow you to practice what you've learned.
Hi Start with something basic if you are beginner. For a start action movie Best Regards
