I enjoy speaking, reading, listening and writing.

Reading, it helps about listening and understanding,through hearing stories children are exposed to a wide range of words.

Reading. It helps with most of the learner's concerns while learning in English; vocabulary development, comprehension, spelling, grammar ect.

I personally like teaching speaking. I like to play the role of an IELTS examiner and help my students to get prepared for their exams. 

I was born in Kenya. At the age of 22, I traveled to the USA where I spent 20 years pursuing my education and working. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching college students how to write research papers and communicate research outcomes in a more effective way. Before that, I worked in a clinical trial organization for several years in Atlanta Georgia, after completing graduate school. At the college, I teach writing skills to students in Research Methods class 101. The college class is taught once a week and normally has around 20 students per semester. For students who are 

1. I like to start by introducing myself briefly and also asking the student to tell me a little about themselves. Therefore, I expect the student to tell me their name, what country they are from, what City they live in, and anything else they wish to share that will help me to know them better.
2. I will ask my new student what they expect from the class or how they would like for me to help them.
3. I give students ample time to answer questions and if they would like to think through before responding, that is fine by me.
4. I use different types of visuals including pictures, charts, diagrams, props, and also questions, and encourage the student to ask questions as well.
5. I like to repeat terms severally and do task completion activities to help the student remember terms.
