When does a Teacher point out corrections to the student?
I think correcting the student just after the teacher has noticed something wrong is the right way to do it. Waiting to do all the corrections all at the same time could be a bit confusing, especially if the student is learning a new language.

From my own experience, I believe that we should correct our learners only when there are SERIOUS and REPETITIVE mistakes ! Over-correcting them,especially while they are speaking, can make them lose their train of thought ! As foreign language teachers, we need to always remind ourselves that fluency is far more important than accuracy.

Usually a few seconds after they say something incorrect is the best time. You wait for a moment of silence, a second of space to enter and correct them.

Start testThat is right. It is best to correct while it and the context are still fresh in the student's memory. I always explain to my students before we start, that when I make the "Time Out' sign with my hands it is correction time, That way, I do not have to verbally interrupt the student [which can be very off-putting, in my experience].

It depends on the type of mistake itself, in case it is going to hinder the meaning from being delivered you should correct it immediately because you don't want this to turn into a habit. On the other hand, if the mistake is made just because of the student tried to speak faster or just slipped, you can just postpone the correction for later like at the end of a lesson.
