When does a Teacher point out corrections to the student?

I think correcting the student just after the teacher has noticed something wrong is the right way to do it. Waiting to do all the corrections all at the same time could be a bit confusing, especially if the student is learning a new language.

From my own experience, I believe that we should correct our learners only when there are SERIOUS and REPETITIVE mistakes ! Over-correcting them, especially while they are speaking, can make them lose their train of thought ! As foreign language teachers, we need to always remind ourselves that fluency is far more important than accuracy.
