  • It is when a student tell me that what we learned in class worked for them in the business world. They got through the presentation, the phone call with no video and could answer the questions of the client. I discovered that what I was doing was really important to them and their advancement at work. IT was a win for me, as a teacher and a win for them type of discovery.

  • My most exciting discovery was to realize that I enjoy teaching both kids students and adults. I have learned that when I teach, I am not just a teacher, but a friend too, and ever since I have been enjoying my classes with my students by spreading knowledge in a fun and exciting way with my students feeling extremely happy, comfortable, and confident.

  • That most of the things that we have to take care of is the student's self-confidence. Sometimes the struggles that students confront are related to themselves, not what we teach.

  • Knowing that I can adapt to any student in regards to their learning needs was definitely a wonderful discovery for me! 😁

  • My so-called discovery was that a language can be taught not only through grammar rules and exercises, but also through songs, proverbs and jokes! Now I try to make my lessons fun instead of making them all about grammar and syntax! I even invented some imaginary characters for children to make studying grammar a little less of a challenge!

  • Run a class without a written lesson plan! Because I try to save it on my mind mostly!
