i am from china ,  maybe different country and different celebrating for new year . usually families gather for a special dinner or meal , whre they enjoy dishes that symbolize good luck or prosprerity , some might light fireworks or set off firecrakers to chase away bad spirits and usher in a fresh start 
. how about ur country ?

We had a family Photoshop in which we were wearing matching pyjamas and we made resolutions. It was quiet a great time having al the family members in one place,  celebrating with love.

Our family will reflect on 2024, share what we are grateful for, and set our goals for 2025. Then, we usually say our prayers at midnight and give glory to the almighty. It's a special time for us to appreciate life and each other together.
