My approach to teaching grammar is focused on clear explanations, practical application through exercises and activities, progressive learning, and individual instruction. real-life examples, engaging activities, continuous assessment utilization of resources and tools, and providing engagement support. These aspects aim to create an engaging and interactive learning experience, helping students develop a solid understanding of English grammar and become confident communicators.

I have developed my own method of teaching language which is firmly rooted in modern linguistics. My main focus is on presenting the big picture of language in a simple, understandable and accessible way. The other key feature of my method is that it is systematic. There is a clear roadmap, and the students can see where they are headed. I don't start from a random point, and I don't end at a random point. I don't teach gerunds, simple, complex, compound, compound-complex sentences and similar stuff that gave grammar a bad name. I have no use for popular course textbooks intended for ESL, and I think that they can do more harm than help. For advanced students I recommend using "A Student's Introduction to English Grammar" by Huddleston & Pullum. They are the co-authors of the most authoritative and comprehensive grammar book intended for wider public use. My teaching method incorporates my own views on language and how I think it should be taught to students.

Depends on the student's objective.. IF they want to expand their knowledge by grammar - I would recommend a teacher who is NOT a native speaker. WHY? Because they have learned the language the same way that you have through books, school, and grammar rules, memorizing vocabulary. Meanwhile, a child born into a culture aka native person who learns the language from daily life context has not ever even looked at the type of grammar that is being taught in language schools and will see it as a waste of time. The process of reversing your mind backwards into suddenly operating on grammar rules (made up pretty much only for foreigners) just does not feel natural nor is it appealing as useful knowledge. Languages are learned through instinctual repetition. Not abstract grammar concepts...which end up being used in the English speaking world 12% of the time.

I don’t teach grammar. I use grammar to explain why you say one thing and not another.
One approach is to teach grammar in context, using authentic language materials such as news articles, podcasts, or TV shows. This approach can help students see the practical application of grammar concepts and how they are used in real-life situations.
Explanation and much practice.
I enjoy teaching the parts of grammar with the use of games and exercises ☺️
Hi For a start I submit my students an entrance test. After that I usually focus on their more critical aspects. Best Regards
