The word "though" is often used in a sentence to show contrast or to introduce a clause that contrasts with, or qualifies what has just been said. It can be used as a conjunction, adverb or even a noun. I hope my explanation helped :).

What is the Use of the word "though"? The word "though" is an informal word that OFTEN describes a contrasting situation. + The speaker is aware of the contrast.
