To keep my English lessons engaging, I use games like word quizzes and role-playing activities.I also use visual aids like pictures and videos and I relate lessons to their interests such as music or movies.Creating a safe space for questions is important to me.I always celebrate achievments, no matter how small, to make learning fun and memorable.
It depends on the age. For adults, first I get to know their personality and hobbies then we'll have topics based on their favorite ones. I also ask them to tell me a story about their best day. For kids, I would engage them by playing games, singing songs, drawing together and so more.

I use interactive lessons like PPT or iTools. Materials that are equiped with songs, videos and educational games in one application. I make sure that my lessons are tailored-fit for each student's needs. I flex my materials during assesments class, so that the parents would be enlightened how each lesson goes. I prepare different curriculums that parents could choose from. If they don't like it, we can easily change the lessons.
