In Ukraine, the New Year is traditionally celebrated with family or close friends. Everyone gathers at the festive table to see off the old year and welcome the new one with hopes for the best. We prepare different delicious dishes and at midnight; we welcome the new year with fireworks. Almost the entire night we spend time at the table eating food and talking a lot.
As an American, it is definitely Christmas and we have Turkey for dinner.
i am from china. in my country we will buy new clothes , delicious food , fireworks for celebrating the new year . also we will go to relatives family for gifts
