The most memorable feedback? A student once told me, "...that was a psychedelic rollacoaster trip--screaming through a ride of grammar and vocabulary, my eyes wide open,and as soon as I landed, I couldn't wait to shout,'Hell, lets do it again! Wooooooah!'" Now that's the kind of feedback that makes me believe all this chaos is worth it.
A student said to me, that the lesson was so nice and it felt as if she was talking to her mother

I had a student who wouldn't speak more than one or two words in response. What do you like? -Nothing special. what's your favorite pastime? -reading I tried to connect with him for many sessions and finally found some common ground we could talk about. After 1 month his father told me that I was the only person his son talked to. It was the best feedback I received.
One day a student told me that I genuinely cared about their learning and I make them feel included. It meant a lot to me.
"You really care." I am sure everyone wants to hear that :)
A parent told me their 7 year old daughter I started teaching with zero knowledge in English language is presently the best English student in her class and they were so excited bringing the news to appreciate me for helping their daughter achieve that.
