Hi, I'm British, but have been living in the beautiful land of Botswana for over 35 years. My wife (who's also British) and I retired about 6 years ago. To fulfill a secret lifetime ambition as well as to stay active in a fun way, I retrained as an English teacher. Wildlife, travel and rugby are my great passions in life, and living in Botswana allows me to pursue all three at the same time! Oh, and the great weather also means a healthy outdoor lifestyle. I'm now a bit old to play rugby, but I'll always find time to watch a game. 
I grew up living all around the world. Living in places such as Cyprus, Hong Kong, Belize and Thailand in my childhood, has made me addicted to travelling. My wife and I have been to places  like India, Nepal, Guatemala...the list goes forever on. Foreign travel is a great way to broaden the mind and understanding of our fellow human beings. I truly believe everyone should travel if they can; it would solve so many problems in the world.

Although my first job was not teaching, now I feel very confident about my skills in this profession more than the other jobs that I've experienced.
