It depends on the age. 1) The approach we use for adult learners are quite different from kids. 2) We should also know that learning English language attracts a lot of time, so we need to trend with ease and take one step at a time. 3) English language is not like other subjects. The learner has to study with lots of practices. 4) There must be a target for every lesson, the goals must be clearly stated. 5) For kids and little children, there must be a short break within the lesson time frame or a free time to do something quite different from studying the target point, may be watch some educational songs or play some games otherwise, the lesson will be less effective. 6) For adult , try to let them do more talk , more practice, we don’t teach English but we tutor and they learn to practice the rules thereby making it effective. 7) Always give a home work and ask for Feedbacks incase, there may be a need for a change in the methodology.
