Hello to answer your question, No it is not something you should be concerned with seeing as English is not your native language. It is more important to be able to pronounce and formulate a good sentence that is well articulated and easy to understand

While I wish could say no, the fact is that if your accent isn’t clear and understandable, it will be difficult for students to understand you, and you might also teach them incorrect pronunciation.
I love hearing people with a different accent when speaking English, it sounds unique and beautiful! Life would be boring if we all spoke the same. 😌

If I was a student I would always prefer a native speaker especially if they speak RP English!
Hi dear, of course not. As long as you're pronouncing the words correctly, there is no reason to be worried about your accent. Accents are natural and reflect your linguistic background. And do not forget, the accent is far different from fluency. Fluency is important, not the accent.
To interact effectively with others, you don't need a flawless English accent. Having a non-native accent is completely acceptable as long as you can communicate clearly and understandably.
Yeah, in some situation it really matters but not in all cases. What i think, pronunciation and accuracy matters more than the accent. For instance, accent tells about where the speaker hailing from.
