Not a question, just wanted to mention that students can't answer questions
I noticed a lot of teachers asking questions that seem to be asking for students' opinions/thoughts. (Ex: "Why do you want to learn English?", "What do you want to learn?", "What are some things you struggle with when learning?", etc) I see a lot of questions about learning the language from the student's perspective. I do think these are great questions and I did the same thing on the Vietnamese page before, but a student reached out to me with their answers because they can't answer questions on this community questions page. I just wanted to point that out in case teachers weren't aware and wanted to get feedback from students

Yes they cant. And most of the time is teachers answering so as to be able to get attention from students. The more you answer. As the student browse through they are able to notice you.
Thank you so much 'cause i had no idea honestly ^^ (: Happy teaching!
I don't see any problems with those questions as long as they are executed well, although I never asked exactly those questions to my students, instead, I asked them more engaging questions which sounds similar as such.
