Neither! I would rather to listen to some podcast. Not only would I get the job done without noticing the effort I put, but I also learn one or two things at the end of the day.

when you are working, listening to music can be distinctive. for me, I like listening to in in silence.
It depends! When I'm doing housework and chores which don't need my concentration, I'd like to listen to music. But for my teaching job that requires my whole attention, I need silence.

There is a cognitive theory arguing that the mind benefits the most if it processes information using two different channels such as the visual and the auditory modes. For example, you'd learn best if you read an article for example while listening to the music you life at the same time. Conversely, if you watched a video and read the subtitles at the same time, you would exhaust your eyes, which would consequently impact negativelyon your learning.
It depends on the task itself, and the work environment beside my mood also.
I prefer music or a podcast to silence, unless I am teaching a class.

The first thing to do when teaching conditionals would be to explain what conditionals are, then provide them with examples, then play a game where they need to identify the conditional, and finally have them create their own to see if they understood it
