Yes, italian is generally considered a relatively easy language for English speakers to learn. There will be challenges along the way, but with the right motivation and resources, an English speaker can certainly achieve a good level of Italian.

Yes, it's generally easier for an English speaker to learn Italian compared to other languages. However there are challenges such as verb conjugations or noun genders, but overall, with consistent practice most English speakers find it accessible to learn. ✌🏼🇮🇹
The answer is depends. When we speak about learning a language the first factor is motivation and I was able to encourage students with my friendly and cultural approach in my lessons. Then, when we talk about to learn Italian, although Italian is Romance language, my students/contacts say that: the phonetic is not hard, listening is manageable because the sounds of Italian words is melodic and they could learn grammar because I simplify it. If you want I can show you my method and I will try to support you. Francesco
As a native speaker with C1 level Italian, I would say: yes and no. Because Italian is a latin language, it has a lot of similarities to English (ex: similar vs. simile, particular vs. particolare, silence vs. silenzio). This can make it very beginner-friendly. But once you reach the higher levels, you will start being exposed to complex grammatical structures like congiuntivo, congiuntivo imperfetto, and passato remoto. These structures simply don’t exist in English and can be very challenging for English speakers (even Italian mess these up sometimes!)
