Hello! I'm a non-native English teacher :) From my experience both learning and studying the English language, the most important aspect is to diversify your input and not rely on one source only. Reading and watching Harry Potter is fun, but would that make you a proficient language speaker? Probably not.

I adapt to each student's pace and unique needs, addressing speaking, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and writing skills. Our course begins with ice-breaking activities and self-introductions to understand each student's starting point, embarking on a teaching journey together, much like Odysseus in search of Ithaca.

I have a years experience teaching online. I have a 120 hour TEFL Certificate through the TEFL Professional Institute. I have also taken several online courses when it comes to learning how to teach English. To top it all off, I am currently working on my own curriculum for conversational and business English from Beginner Level to Proficient Level. 

I plan to continue to build my curriculum until I can eventually publish a book on how to learn English effectively. I believe that learning a new language should be fun, exciting and engaging. That is what my curriculum is all about.

My teaching style is centered around my students and their needs. I always listen to what my student has to say in terms of how they want to learn. I then plan around that, but my lesson planning is always flexible and can be changed depending on my students needs, or even their needs for a season. 

In my classroom, we also watch videos in different accents, listen to podcasts, have commentary about current affairs and influential people, do role play, and most importantly, we focus on vocabulary a lot. 

I always send my students lessons in advance, so that they get an opportunity to go through the lesson and take note of what they would like clarity on when we go live. This is vey important for me and I do not compromise on that. After the lesson, I also send feedback to my students for their revision.
