I think each and every person knows more than two or three languages. The native language, the tribal language and the global language.

At home we were speaking only one language which is our home language and speak English at school.

As a Morccan I have been raised speaking 3 languages (Arabic,Tamazight,French), by the age of 8 I started watching alot of Disney movies which lead to lerning English as well , I have been speaking English at a very early time and it wasn't even a thing back then in my country . Learning English made me be more open and alot more aware of so many subjects .
I was raised bilingual. I speak English and Afrikaans fluently. South Africa has 11 official languages. Two Germanic ones ( Afrikaans and English) and 9 indigenous African languages.
I speak two languages at home; English with my boyfriend, and Spanish with my family. My french is at a basic level.
I am natively fluent in both English and Brazilian Portuguese. My Spanish is at a basic level and I do not have any activities that require the Spanish language.

At home with my wife and son, we primarily speak Vietnamese. With my family in the UK, we only speak English, though. I was not raised bilingual, and I'm planning to learn even more!
