Being an English teacher, I strongly believe in practicing what I teach. That's why I make a deliberate effort to include English in my everyday life. To enhance my language skills, I enjoy listening to English podcasts or audiobooks during my commute to work. This exposes me to various accents, vocabulary, and sentence structures. Additionally, I prioritize reading English books and articles online, which not only helps me broaden my vocabulary but also acquaints me with new phrases and idioms. Learning a language is an ongoing journey as there is always more to discover.
i found that through my years of teaching. it was when the student listen to english radio or tv and copy what was said. then the student would need classes for the comprehension side of it

Talk to yourself in english. Many on us have conversations in our mind and by talk to ourself in english can improve speaking.
By having conversations daily, watching movies and trying to mimic them. Practicing with whoever comes my way(laughs).

I dont practice at all, as am native, but giving my students small chunks and asking them to use it during a week, before the next lesson and repeat as new lesson begins. Not same for all but for some.
I find that immersion is the best way to learn. Watch English movies without subtitles amd listen to English music, trying to memorize as much of the lyrics as possible.
I think the best ways to practice English daily is to listen to English audios and write down your messages in english either to yourself or to someone you know can read and speak English.

- What's the best way to teach pronunciation?
Is there a way to do it without over-emphasizing the phrase or word you're trying to teach? I'm often afraid to push the students too hard for fear of discouraging them. Especially with "L" and "R" sounds.
