how do you greet an elderly person in Chinese?

Usually say (nin hao) to the elder people to show your respect, if a elder female you would say (a yi hao) ,if a elder male you would say (shu shu hao) I have 5 years of experience in teaching Chinese, please book my trail class and let us to know each other better, I will make a private study plan for you.😄
Usually say 您好(nin hao)as in hello, for female stranger the age of your mom, you call 阿姨(a yi)as in aunt, for men of similar age, you call 叔叔(shu shu)as in uncle, for women your grandma’s age, you call 奶奶(nai nai)as in grandma, similarly, for men of that age you call 爷爷(ye ye)as in grandpa.
For more practical and common use, local Chinese will say “您老” . For example, where are you going?(asking for elder)you can say “您老去哪儿?” but for youth,we just say “你去哪儿”.
①For elderly female people:you can say "大妈/大娘/老奶奶/奶奶…… 好“” ②For elderly male people:you can say:"您好,老爷爷/老先生/老师傅/老同志/您老……您好”
You can say: 老人家您好 or 大爷您好, means Hello Grandpa. The first one you can say to all elderly people. Second one only to male. I hope this helps. If you have more questions please contact me.
You can say:"您好(nin hao)!"
