How do you encourage students to embrace vulnerability when learning a new language?

In my classes, I really focus on the idea of having a growth mindset. I push my students to set their own language goals and to see challenges as chances to learn something new. I like to remind them that language is all about connecting with others, and the more they practice, the more confident they'll feel. By giving them helpful feedback and cheering them on, I show them that being a bit vulnerable can actually lead to great insights and help them get better at their language skills:)
Encourage vulnerability in language learning by normalizing mistakes, modeling your own challenges, and fostering a growth mindset. Create a safe, respectful space for risk-taking, celebrate small wins, and use group activities to build confidence. Encourage reflection so students embrace mistakes as part of their growth.
It's important for me to remind them that each of us has a different learning process, they're on their own learning path, but still they have my support as a teacher to provide them with the tools and techniques to help them take their English to the next level.

Well , i tell them that they should always feel free to ask me any questions and to let themselves discover new world by not being scared to show their v. side. Because being vulnerable is what makes us strong, we just shouldn't feel pressured by other people to show it, but to slowly open up by supporting each- other.
I help my students to know that it is okay to feel vunerable beccause its a complete new language they are trying to learn,... and i take out my time to encourage them to push through with their learning expirence.
Share your own experiences of learning a language or overcoming challenges, help them understand that vulnerability is not a weakness but a sign of courage, when they take risks and make mistakes they're actively learning.
Remind students that mistakes are not just natural but necessary for improvement.Share personal stories or examples of how language learners have made mistakes and learnt from it. Including your own personal experience can help build the students confidence
