I learnt Brazilian Portuguese In the South of Brazil. I personally find the accent from the South is very Spanish influenced, and has a clearer tone, compared to the Portuguese further North, like in Rio. Portuguese from Portugal has a very Germanic influence, with a gutteral sound in my opinion.
Brazil Portuguese is kind of long when it comes to the vowels were as the Portugal Portuguese is short but they are equite similiar
🇵🇹 Portuguese is the original language. It doesn’t exist Brazilian. It’s Portuguese with a different pronunciation. Spoken long before Brazil existed. Kind of British and American. BBC English is the original spoken long before Americans exist.
Son variantes del mismo idioma, pero presentan algunas diferencias en terminos de pronunciación, vocabulario y estructyras gramaticales.
The biggest difference I found is that, Portugal Portuguese sounds more rigid and gutted, sounding very serious In a sense while Brazilian Portuguese, is very nasal, and sounds very sweet and relaxed to hear, especially from a woman.
