“Good” gives a sense of wishing someone well. It puts positivity over the greeting.
Well logically speaking these are greetings and when we greet someone we have to be nice . we can't greet bad morning or bad evening. In every culture greetings are always soothing and motivating. Well I must appreciate your question teacher ! it's interesting to think without Google 👍 .
