As a Brazilian, of course not. But I had this problem when studied spanish and italian. So I decided to focus on spanish first. When I have mastered Spanish well, so I go back to Italian. These three languages are derivated from latin. As well as romanian and french. But these two ones are more different.
not really , mixing Italian for Portuguese or verse visa is very rare . as they both sound very different only some words sound the same . Were as for Spanish its very easy to understand. they are all native speaking languages but have their differences .
É mais comum ocorrer confusão entre português e espanhol pois existem muitos cognatos
